Hailing from the largest country in the world, transcontinental Russia, Guliya is part of our New Product Development team.
Chef Guliya has worked in a number of restaurants across the globe including Dubai, Russia and Italy and her experiences of cooking different cuisines contribute to her ability to suggest tantalising new flavours and ideas when it comes to product development.
Executive Sous Chef
Chef Benoit has over 20 years experience and is passionate about international cuisine. Two years travelling the world with the French navy introduced Asian, Polynesian and African culinary influences into his work.
Chef Benoit trained in a Michelin-starred restaurant in France and worked in many 5-star hotels across Europe and the Middle East, including the Grand Hyatt, Atlantis before joining EKFC.
Executive Chef Emirates First & Business Class Lounge
German-born Chef Kai is a recognised Michelin-starred Master Chef with over 19 years experience. He describes his cuisine as modern Mediterranean with Asian influences.
This multi award-winning culinary professional trained under Michelin-starred chefs in Germany and Europe. He joined EKFC after stints as a private chef and a culinary consultant, overseeing the Emirates First and Business Class Lounges in Dubai International Concourse A. He has also appeared in Masterchef programmes in Ireland and Australia.
Chef Marco has been with EKFC since 2013. He was born in Cologne and raised in northern Bavaria, famous for its Christmas confectionaries. After training in a small family business, he moved to the Hyatt Hotel chain.
Chef Marco loves Italian cuisine, even though he is German. He advises aspiring chefs that the only way forward is to remain persistent.
Executive Sous Chef
Hailing from the land of the rising sun, Japan, Chef Sato brings his highly talented skills to our kitchens.
Having worked in ultra-fine small restaurants in Tokyo, Japan, to large Mistukoshi outlets in Florida, USA, his skills are admirable and highly sought after in the training sessions he regularly conducts for our Cooks.
