October is known worldwide as Breast Cancer Awareness Month – a great cause which many of us have been affected by directly or indirectly.

Every year, Emirates Flight Catering supports The Pink Brigade, a campaign that raises money for breast cancer awareness, with all proceeds being donated to The Pink Caravan, an initiative that was launched in 2011 and fights to improve the lives of those affected by cancer. 

Founder Chef Robbie Stokes has said:

The Pink Brigade was created to show women across the UAE and beyond, that our industry cares about them and wants to help in any way that we can. We are proud to continue this with the launch of The Pink Brigade in 2017."

The campaign is simple, personalised chef jackets, pink aprons, and pink headscarves are provided by hospitality supplier A. Ronai, and sold, with all proceeds being donated to the cause.

We are proud to announce that this year, Emirates Flight Catering has, with the support of our enmployees, raised an impressive 31,050 AED towards the cause through the sale of The Pink Brigade items, and a generous donation from our CEO, Saeed Mohammed. Thank you to everyone who contributed!
