The Virgin Atlantic Crew Recognition Award is based on flight quality reports raised by crew, voice of the customer and email feedback that crew writes to the management teams of Inflight Service and F&B at Virgin. Emirates Flight Catering received the highest number of appreciation and praise from the crew amongst all Virgin Atlantic’s network of caterers for the period of January – August 2016. 

Virgin designed the awards this year in recognition of their catering partners. The categories of awards were set up by the Virgin’s Inflight Services and F&B teams collectively. It will be an annual award, in tandem with the Chefs & Account Manager’s event. However, the categories may change year to year. This year, the Chefs and Account Manager’s event was held by Virgin at their base in Crawley London, at the end of September. Sylvia Samuel and Andreas Schnidrig represented Emirates Flight Catering at the event and received the award on our company’s behalf.

We are very proud to have been presented with this award, and we could not have done it without the tirless efforts of all of our teams, who ensure a smooth running of our operations at all times.
